- PCMCIA 工具集/模块, Ethernet 模块
- fs.img
- XFS/JFS 文件系统工具集, Ext2 加强工具集
- keymaps_usb_firewire.img
- 附加的键盘映射/控制台字体, USB/Firewire 模块
- raid_lvm.img
- RAID/LVM 模块及工具集
- scsi.img
- SCSI modules

将下载的映像写入空白的软盘：
（插入第一张软盘） # dd if=boot.img of=/dev/fd0 （插入第二张软盘） # dd if=root.img of=/dev/fd0 （插入软盘写入其余所需的额外映像） # dd if=scsi.img of=/dev/fd0
如果你需要在 Windows 下写入这些映像，你可以下载 rawrite.exe，用它来代替
dd。 -
如果你想通过 FTP 进行安装，记下你的网络设置，稍后的安装中会用到：
- IP 地址
- 子网掩码
- 网关
- 网卡的以太网模块（如：eepro100，8139too）
